Meet Adham Abousalem

I had the absolute pleasure of connecting with Adham Abousalem recently and we’ve shared our conversation below.

What are you most passionate about?

Creating content that tells a story, captivating an audience.

How did your loved ones react to you wanting to pursue a creative career?

At first, they did not understand the fascination with sneakers or what creating content centered around it could do and what opportunities it could bring. Now, they’re accustomed to it.

How do you deal with creative block?

Instead of trying to force myself through the block, I take it as a sign to take a break and find relaxation and comfort in something else. Whether that’s going for a walk, or watching a movie. Whatever that may be. And keep doing that until that spark gets ignited again.

How did you figure out that you were creative?

With time. I realized that a number of hobbies or passion projects were focused in the realm of creativity.

What's your favorite quote?

“The problem with being good is you become indispensable.“

What's one piece of advice you'd give to 21 year old you?

Keep grinding.

What do you see as the future of your respective role?

I still see growth in my future. I want to make 2024 a year where I continue to build connections and open new doors. I’d love to be someone people go to for content creation and help them tell their story.

Where are you playing it safe right now?

Videography.
